The Explorer Post 111 is a chartered by the Boys Scout of America, and it is a youth career exploration program. It was established in 1986 under the direction of the Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance. It provides an opportunity for youth ages 14 to 18 to explore EMS as a career. Participants, once becoming CPR Certified and trained how aid the ambulance staff, are allowed to ride on ambulance calls. Post 111 also plans community events like ARC blood drives and peer education.
The Explorers meet every other Monday at 7:00 PM during the academic year.
